Week 13 Reflection

 Week 13 Reflection

This week's readings really impacted my views on gratitude as I excel in my career. I loved the list that president Monson provided for us to reflect on. As I progress, I people in our lives and the way that they bless us believe it is important to reflect on the blessing that God has given you. If we are able to reflect on the people and blessings they give us while we are progressing, we can know that when we have reached our goal in our careers, we will treat them well. I truly think it is important to treat those who support us in our lives well. I have seen people in my personal life leave their loved ones behind as they reach their career goals. It is key to thank them for their support as we make our way in college and in our careers.

I also enjoyed one of the videos that talked about how important it is to decide to be a generalist instead of a specialist. I know that as time changes so do positions in career choices. If I were to specialize in something and times were to change, I would be put in a tough position. Overall, this week's readings really helped me put into perspective my career choices and how the ones I love can help me along the way, and how I can help them. In healthy marriages and relationships, showing gratitude is key to remembering how much better two people are together compared to how they are apart. The simple phrase "two is better than one" perfectly describes what I mean.
