Week 14 Reflection

 Final Reflection     If I had to teach one final lecture about the top lessons I have learned throughout this semester from this course, I would talk about vision, enjoying the journey to your goals. I loved how much we talked about having a vision in mind throughout this course. When we have a vision that we place at the forefront of our minds, we can make small but important decisions that will lead us there. If we have a vision of who we want to become or a goal we want to reach, it can often be a motivation to push through hard times along our journey there. Think of a vision beyond a physical goal (like making $500,000 a year) and make a life one that is specific to what you feel your life calling to be.  For me this was first owning a video production agency, then I thought about what I wanted to do with my calling in video production. Week 13 Reflection

 Week 13 Reflection     This week's readings really impacted my views on gratitude as I excel in my career. I loved the list that president Monson provided for us to reflect on. As I progress, I people in our lives and the way that they bless us believe it is important to reflect on the blessing that God has given you. If we are able to reflect on the people and blessings they give us while we are progressing, we can know that when we have reached our goal in our careers, we will treat them well. I truly think it is important to treat those who support us in our lives well. I have seen people in my personal life leave their loved ones behind as they reach their career goals. It is key to thank them for their support as we make our way in college and in our careers.      I also enjoyed one of the videos that talked about how important it is to decide to be a generalist instead of a specialist.
